Appearance: Alpha is a very big girl. She has ash-blond hair and she wears it short. She has really beautiful dark blue/grey eyes. The black robes of Hogwarts give her a very pale look.

Family Background: She originally comes from the Netherlands, she changed her name, because her Dutch name, Godelieva Rijkerdsma, can't be pronounced by most people.

Her parents are both wizards and they are very powerful, they also work at the wizards university in the Netherlands (located near Vaals, exact name is forbidden to mention). What they teach nobody knows, not even Alpha. They sent her to Hogwarts because this school accepted foreign students.

Talents/Special Abilities: You can see Alpha almost everywhere, but she is a quiet girl and she doesn't speak much. Alpha's special ability is that she can talk with cats. She can also breath underwater as this ability was taught at her old school. (See Below)

Pet: Her pet "Miss Eezy" is a beautiful siamese cat, who talks a lot, is very nosy and likes to give people "cat-scans". This cat can sense what character a human has, and as Alpha can talk with her cat, she knows that too. But sometimes her cat doesn't give away all the information.

Wand: 11 inches long, ebony with dragonheartsrings and is amazingly powerfull.

Other Information: Alpha is very shy. This is her second time in the Fourth Year, but that is only due to language problems. She doesn't like to stand out, she usually blends in. She hates parties because she has to 'chat' then and she does not know how.

You can find her most of the time in the library, where she helps Madam Pince, the librarian. She is really fond of books.

She came to Hogwarts because her school in the Netherlands was burned down. It was a famous school, famous for the witches who had learned the ability to breathe underwater. In the seventeenth century this school already existed, it was called Oldewater, and it was quite notorious. Muggles, scared of witchcraft tried to drown the witches and wizards and in return the witches and wizards learned how to breathe under water. This ability was learned in the first year in Oldewater, also when Alpha went to school there.
