Appearance: Tall and slim with her figure developing just enough to be noticeable. Long, dark brown curly hair with natural red highlights. Large, very dark brown eyes which hold your gaze and see more than you think. Unknown to most, she has a tattoo of a Raven in the small of her back, and a small 'target' on her left upper arm.

Family Background: Youngest of seven children: Bowen (27), Aderyn ( 24), Cadfan (22), Angwen (21), Cerian (19), and Edryd (17). All educated at Durmstrang due to their special DADA talents. Father, Anarawd Evans, works for the Ministry of Magic although Branwen doesn't know what he actually does. Mother, Nissa Evans, a muggle, was an archaeologist prior to meeting and marrying Anarawd in a whirlwind romance.

Grandparents are writers: Heddwyn writes factual books, Mwynen writes racy romantic fiction - much to Branwen's embarrassment. Family prosperity is based on their success and old money. All siblings are talented Quidditch players, except Branwen who keeps up with it only to have something in common with her brothers and sisters. They are a very close family.

Talents/Special Abilities: Animagus like her siblings, Father and Grandfather. Apparently descended from Morrigan, they take the form of Ravens. Uncommonly talented at DADA, she is prepared to work hard to be better. Also very good at Transfiguration but strongly dislikes Herbology and shows little ability for it.

Pet: Barn Owl - Vanya.

Wand: 12 inch cherry wood with Dragon's heartstring - very good for DADA and quite strong.

Other Information: Had to leave Durmstrang after being struck down with a mysterious, almost fatal, illness. The culprit was not discovered but it was put down to her mixed heritage becoming known,she is afraid a similar thing will happen at Hogwarts. Following the incident, she was educated at home for several months until she regained her strength, during which time her siblings taught her a few magical things she is not supposed to know yet. Brother, Edryd, is very protective and considered transferring with her.

Has a fierce temper which she works very hard to control. Instinctive flirt - much to the dismay of Randal. Passionate - can get easily caught up in things. Confident about most things, except her appearance having been overshadowed by older, and in her opinion, more beautiful siblings. A ready and warm smile, generally a very happy personality who dislikes upsetting others - unfortunately something she does a great deal due to speaking before she's finished thinking.

She has a deep love of music, mostly muggle, both listening to and performing. Disappointed that Hogwarts has no facility for electricity (of course). She plays piano - still looking for one in the Castle - violin, trumpet, drums ( Keith Moon is her idol), is learning the guitar and sings. She has inherited some talent for writing from her Grandparents but wants a career in music - despite most of her siblings working in differing capacities for MoM.

Strong affinity with birds due to her animagus form and will happily chat with the pet, Vanya. An unkindness of ravens followed her from Durmstrang and they scavenge together.
