Appearance: Emerald green eyes with long, wild, jet black hair that gets in his eyes. Quite charming and intense.

Family Background: We know little except his letter from Hogwarts was received by his uncle who appears to have told him little about where he was going etc. Also, that he may well come from a wizarding background but a sheltered one with little contact with the wider magical community. Has lived in the country.

Other Information: Addresses an invisible companion as Zephyr who seems quite concerned for him. A few students have been slightly aware that 'something' invisible is close to Raphael. We has struck up a rapport with another new student Nathaniel as well as Ravenclaw Sarah Taverner.
