Yvette Monclere
Name: Yvette Monclere
House Affiliation: Gryffindor
Current Age: 14/4th Year
Birthday: Born in October.
Appearance: Yvette has long, chestnut hair
that curls uncontrollably, and normally wears a friendly expression
or evil grin. Her nose and arms are splattered with freckles,
and her eyes are silver or grey, depending on her mood. She's
skinny but eats like a horse, and has proven herself to be quite
the expert at Transfiguration. As said by a couple of people,
she's got a zany streak. She always goes overboard with whatever
it is she's doing, sometimes even endangering herself. When
she's angry, her whole face changes, and she won't shut up until
she's satisfied. She often makes light of all serious situations,
which annoys some people.
Family Background: Her father, Axel Monclere,
graduated from Hogwarts, while her mother graduated from Beuxbatons.
Her mother wallows in the admiration of her friends. The Monclere
family is extremely rich. Her mother designs fashionable robes
and her father...no one is quite sure what her father does,
even Mrs. Monclere. Their estate is in France, and Yvette speaks
fluent French and English.
Pet: As a present, she received her gray
owl, Oz, who sleeps most of the time. When he's awake, he's
a good owl, but he's just too lazy
Wand: Yvette's wand is an extremely long
15 and a half inch wand, which is very flexible and made with
willow and the heartstrings of dragons. It's excellent for Transfiguration.
Talents/Special Abilities: Her languages,
and her ability to `grin and bear it' in almost any situation.
She also has excellent eyesight and knows to keep her friends
close...but her enemies closer.
Other Information: Wherever Yvette goes,
trouble springs up. She's addicted to Berti Botts Every Flavor
Beans, and collects the Quidditch cards from Chocolate Frogs.
Her Quidditch team are the Quiberon Quafflepunchers, whom she
admires with an awe bordering on worship.
