POP3Clip has a few settings:
-
Email Settings
To accomplish its magic, POP3Clip needs to know all the vital information about your POP3Clip Email address.
(You may want to setup a special Email address exclusively for POP3Clip.)
-
Auto Get frequency
Choose how often you want POP3Clip to check your POP3Clip Email address for new information.
If you set this to 60 seconds, new information will be retrieved every minute. This is very frequent for Email checking, but when you're copying and pasting, one minute is probably too long. When you're in a hurry to paste, don't wait for POP3Clip to check, use the "Get Now" button on the main window.
(You may want to setup a special Email address exclusively for POP3Clip.)
-
Use TOP
Some POP3 servers may not support the optional "TOP" command.
Don't worry about this setting unless POP3Clip never seems to retrieve data sent from your other computer.
(You may want to setup a special Email address exclusively for POP3Clip.)
-
Silence network errors
In the world of networking, and especially over the Internet, many things can go wrong.
If you are not interested in when and why POP3Clip fails to send or retrieve data, then you will want to "Silence network errors" by checkmarking this item.
